Behind Task Force Tactical is Director Jay, a certified firearms instructor committed to delivering professional, safety-focused firearms education throughout Maryland.
As the owner and lead instructor of Task Force Tactical, Director Jay believes responsible firearm ownership begins with proper training, discipline, and confidence through education. His instruction style combines patience, professionalism, and practical skill development to create a learning environment where both beginners and experienced shooters can train safely and effectively.

Director Jay holds multiple firearms certifications, including NRA-certified instruction credentials, Maryland Handgun Qualification training certification, and Maryland Wear & Carry instruction certification. He is also certified to provide handgun training for law enforcement professionals in Maryland.

In addition to civilian and professional instruction, Director Jay has overseen firearm safety operations on movie sets, helping maintain controlled environments where safety and accountability are essential
at all times. That experience sharpened his attention to detail and reinforced the importance of clear communication, structured procedures, and responsible firearm handling under pressure.

Although Task Force Tactical is a growing company, Director Jay successfully completed his certification programs on the first attempt and continues to build his expertise through ongoing training, range development, and hands-on instruction. His focus is not ego or intimidation. It is education, preparation, and helping students become safer, more responsible firearm owners.
